SNEZ E-News and Blog - Music to the treasurers ears!

Hello my lovelies
Been a bit tardy with my blog, I apologise.

DUO IMPRESS TREASURER?
It's been an eventful week, beginning with the NSW Treasurer Mike Baird, turning up at Tibbles Cafe with our mayor Rosa Sage,  to present a cheque to the Katoomba Neighbourhood Centre, the room was buzzing with excitement. Stewart and I played for the people at Tibbles for a couple hours and landed a little editorial piece in The Gazette. Very cute. He said he'd be my groupie...lets see if he turns up at my next gig at the Katoomba RSL : )  You just never know!

DONATION TO MEDECINS SANS FRONTIERES

We made a total of $515 from International Womens Day Concert at The Clarendon which will be donated to the charity 'Medecins Sans Frontieres' - in english 'Doctors without Borders'. Which I am really happy about passing on. Thank you to those who made the show, it was your contribution that made it a possibility.

ROLLER DERBY TEST
Just an update on my roller derby antics. I'm training for my white star test which will happen on the 2nd of May. This involves a bunch of different techniques including blocking players, leaping, jumping, tomahawks and hip and shoulder whips and hits!!!  and the much dreaded written test...I feel like I'm back at school and I don't like, but it does mean if I pass this test I can start training to be in a real game, which I'm very much looking forward to. Wish me luck, I'm panicking as we speak!

TRANCEform
I have a really cool show coming up on Saturday 27th April which includes Hands Heart and Feet, Astrobeat Thunkestra, Ghawazi Caravan and myself. If you wanna dance, this is the show for you. Chai and home made food to be served really cheap.
