Gypsy Soul Tour Diary - Dubbo

18 July 2010

Slept in woohoo!
Got up with the beautiful sunshine. Had brekkie and then we had to leave by 10 am to get to Dubbo for an early concert at the Midnite Cafe at 3 PM. It took about 2 and a half hours to get there. The Midnite Cafe is a version of Parramatta's Mars Hill Cafe, but a little smaller.

What a fantastic and attentive crowd we had. Naomi is the lady that organised this for us and took some pictures for us too. In the audience we had a few people from Sydney and also Springwood.

Everyone was really appreciative of us being there. A few people told us that they don't normally have the opportunity for this kind of concert in Dubbo...so there you go, we did something for the community : )

We finished up around 6 pm and then we went in search of a free camping spot a few k's out of Dubbo - got lost, couldn't find the one we were looking for, but found one eventually. We had some mexican pancakes/burgers (home made ofcourse) for dinner. I have a full tummy and I feel really good.

We've got a few days off now and we might go and visit some friends in Coonabarabarn (if thats how you spell it).

Goodnight, sleep tight

snez xx
